Gun Range In Pennsylvania

I'm going to Pennsylvania in July to visit family. Talking with some of them on the phone I have discovered some have a new interest in firearms and would like to go shooting when I visit. Can someone tell me of any decent ranges near the South Central area of Pa? Near Gettysburg.

One resource are the public ranges on State Game Lands. I see that there are 2 in the South Central Region.

Thanks for the link! I've found the 2 that you are referring to they seem to be very likely candidates. I'll have someone from my family go check them out. Never thought of public ranges as there aren't any near me in Florida. Thanks again.

If you want to shoot at the PA Game Commission public ranges just remember you need either;

1) Pa hunting license, or
2) Range use Permit


And the ranges have rules on number of rounds that can be loaded in the firearm;

Rifle - 3 rounds
Handguns - 6 rounds

Rules at my range have changed a tad..you can now load six in a rifle.
