I recently started visiting YouTube , primarily to see gun related videos. Some of them are well done, some of them are quite bad. Many of the videos are informative, and some are full of bad info. For anyone who has been watching them more than me what are your opinions and favorites.

I don't like loud mouths. There is one guy who throws stuff around. I guess he thinks it's funny. I like the more educational ones. Paul Herrel is very good. He can talk a lot though. Hickok 45 is one of my favorites. WHO_TEE_WHO is a new one to me i like. 22 plinktser and ultimate reloading too. There is some more. Just cant think of them now.

I think one of the best on YT is Paul Harrell who has a huge following. He is broadly informed, articulate, and deals with all aspects of firearm ownership and use. He has just announced he has a serious illness> it might slow down his output, but he has plenty of videos on YT to keep you entertained for a long time. Lucky Gunner is another excellent YT presenter.

The ones mentioned already are good. Paul Harrel rambles a bit to me, but I do watch him.
Some of my favorites are:
Backfire, Ron Spomer, Hornady podcast, Brownells Smyth Busters, and Ultimate Reloader.
I sometimes have to force myself to endure his monotone and don't entirely agree with some of his opinions, but " The Real Gunsmith " has some good educational information.

Guneblue490
Jonnysreloadingbench
Fortunecookie45lc
Paul harrel
Bolt action reloading
Winning in the wind.... very dry speaker very knowledgeable
Dummy round
Hickhock45
Loadsofbacon
I watch all of those a lot and like them..
Ultimate reloader is hugely popular I just can't stand him.
backfire has some stuff that's good but he is hunting focused.
Then we have Eric Cortina, possibly the most polarizing of them all....

The ones I watch are...

Paul Harrell
The turkeys opinion
Gerand thumb
Kentucky ballistics
Who tee who
Banana ballistics
1shottv
The Yankee marshall
Guns n gadgets
TFB TV
Gunblue
Buffalo outdoors
Brandon Herrara
Mishaco
Forgotten Weapons
Chukes outdoors

Those are the ones I can remember. There are others I just don't watch them enough to remember their names off the top of my head.

I like the ones that do shooting more than I like the ones that do talking. If I want talking I listen to their podcast if they have one. If they don’t then I maybe I’ll catch a video here and there.

WHOTEEWHO for shooting
Hickok45 for shooting of neat older guns
Kentucky Ballistics for shooting and entertainment
Paul Harrel for shooting and talking
Ron Spomer for talking or just listen to the podcast.
USOG and Tom River for talks about hunting and hunting rifles.
TFB for higher priced gun reviews and shooting. (Although the Maverick burn down was cool for a cheapie)

Of course there are one or fifty more I check out from time to time as well.

Sometimes Garand Thumb and Admin. Results, but they can be a bit too silly.
Demolition Ranch and Kentucky Ballstics are borderline unsafe, IMO.
Brandon Herrera fits in that mix, as does Donut Operator. Where is a matter of personal preference. Whether anything can be read into the fact that all of those use Matt Carriker's Bunker Branding is also a matter of personal preference.

Like much on the intertuubs, I find you are well advised to get a variety of content, to include stuff you may not necessarily agree with, just to avoid confirmation bias.
That's my personal preference, others' will vary.

I like some of the European content, like Bloke o nthe Range and Polenar Tactical among others. Some of those can be very nerdy, to choose an imperfect word.

I'm definitely into the historical stuff, so CandRsenal and British muzzleloaders (if being more about Canadian centerfire :) ) fit that bill.
