Gun stuff to do in Vegas

Going to Vegas for 4 days, fly in tomorrow afternoon. Wondering what kind of LEGAL trouble there is to get into. The wife, aunt and I are up for anything, although shooting a mini-gun from a helo might be out of our price range unless we're lucky at the tables. Mother in law is a bit of a gun noob, but not opposed to observing the rest of us do some crazy stuff and maybe pull a few rounds with a CCW handgun or low recoiling rifle. What must we absolutely do/see while there? Thinking NFA rentals or some sort of off-road/shooting experience out in the desert.

The Gun Store rents a Thompson, MP40, MP5, etc. Close to The Strip and, at least the times I’ve been there, reasonable prices.
