Portland gunshow was really packed and made the TV news.Tell you what, I have never in my 57 years seen so many guns and so much ammo and mags sold in a single weekend as last weekend. The mag guy was selling $2700 worth of mags an hour for seven hours till he run out of ar mags($25 a piece) on Friday. The next day he sold $19,000 worth of just everyday mags and on Sunday his stock was so low he had nothing really to sell.
Just one new gun sales guy had 40 people at a time waiting to buy guns. His best sale day befor this show was 205 guns in a weekend. He had sold 1200 guns over the weeked. Everyone had alot of sales. The guys I was with sold ten lowers to one guy first thing Friday.
Ammo sold out on Friday so they brought in another truckload on Sat and it was gone by 2pm. Sunday you just couldn't find much of anything. 7.62x54 was over $200 a thousand and not available. wolf 223 was $8 a box and none available and so it was with 762x39...
Hotest sales I have ever seen and I have been involved with shows for 30 years. The panic is going to be really bad by January as all the dealers say they can't resupply for 3 months.
