Looks like a sporter .22 Mauser. Pretty swoopy little gun -- even got a couple eagle proof marks on the receiever and barrel. One part is missing though -- the front action screw.

I don't suppose anyone knows where I can find a replacement?

Thanks!

That sounds like something that would be easier to make than find.
Anything really special or odd about it,that it wouldn't be simple to make from a blank screw or turn from stock?

If it's a standard metric screw you might be able to find one locally. We have a hardwear store that carries an amazing assortment of screws english and metric...I have a Mauser 22, the one made like a miniature M98, it is very accurate . If yours is similar you have a fine rifle.

If I am thinking of the right gun, it has a rear action screw, which is identical to the front except for length. You can use it for comparison rather than carrying the rifle around. I had one of those rifles but a collector made me an offer I couldn't refuse, so I can't measure one for you.
