I found a .22 top break H&R for $200. Looks decent, but it's not local so I can't try it first. Seems to be double action. I know some sell for more than others, it'd be nice to find a H&R guide so I could identify it. I just think topbreaks are convenient, and .22 is pretty neat and affordable.

Ash,
That's a mid 1920s H&R PREMIER small frame auto ejector (can't tell the variation without knowing how the top rib is stamped), DA/SA, with 3" barrel, 7 x .22 lr (if they will fit, some won't), Nickel finish and black hard rubber grip panels. Hard to tell the condition from the pic - but 200 bucks, to me, seems a bit high. I'd start bidding around $135. The .22 versions (was also chambered in .32 S&W x 5) do gather more shooter interest. I've shot one from my collection - accuracy was surprisingly good for a short barrel, small gripped revolver.
Here's a pic of a pair from my collection:

Thanks a lot! I talked them down from $400 to $200, I said I'd do $150 and they said $200 was the lowest. I'd like a topbreak, and this seems very interesting, but I don't wanna spend too much.

Forget that it's a DA, the mainspring is too heavy for any sort of useable DA trigger work. But as an SA gun they are nice. I've got an H&R Sportsman and it is a nice gun. Not anywhere near as nice as a S&W Model 17 mind you. But nice enough that I'd jump on one at $200.
