jr_rossa, I said "I do not tumble live rounds" I did not say there was a problem with tumbling live rounds. I tumble to remove lube after sizing, I have no problem with checking the flash hole of every case I load.

I was more suggesting that I will probably start tumbling before prime/charge/seat since all I'm trying to do is get the lube off, and I can accomplish that without tumbling live rounds.
I will probably continue to give my jacketed pistol ammo a final tumble, since I don't see pistol powder able to cause the same problem as I see in rifle, and it makes the brass much easier to find on the ground.
