It is certainly interesting to see what is taking place in other parts of the country. I have to admit that I find it a bit disheartening that the high prices have stuck around thus far (I doubt that will change)!
Although prices always tend to inflate with enough time, I can't say that the increased cost of ammunition/components has really followed the rate of inflation... .223 loaded ammo was selling for about $3.25/box just a couple of years ago, and now sits much closer to $10/box. Shooting is just starting to become too expensive for many folks!
My much "cheaper" reloaded ammo still costs more than the factory loaded ammo I was buying a few years back (granted, price isn't the only reason to reload... but still).
