Yes. I got into 32 caliber revolvers and 38 specials because of having brass. I had 357s and figured why bother with wimpy 38? Wow glad I came to my senses. That led to trying 32 s&w. And longs. And mags
Now its an addiction. Id rather shoot and load revolver now.

Yep.
Found a bag of .41 mag. brass under the loading bench. Had sold my only .41 15 yrs. prior.
Took it as a sign from God I was to obtain another .41.
Now have six of them...

I've been accumulating 308Win brass so that I can eventually have a reason to get the rifle to go with it. I've got a junk brass can with several other calibers in it, but not enough to do any good and mostly calibers I don't care for anyway.

I have never bought a gun because I had brass.

I DO/HAVE collected brass for calibers that I hope to own one day. When I ordered my AR15 in Nov, I already had 500 .223 cases. That came in handy. By the time my AR had arrived, Sandy Hook had just happened and ammo was not to be found. So I am reloading on the cases that I collected ahead of time.

As the name implies, I have a 6" 357. I started shooting 38s with it and have a crap load of 38 brass. Now I shoot just 357 with it.

So I'm in the market for a 38.

Yes, I wound up with a bucket of .380, and a bucket of .40S&W that got sorted out of my range pick-up brass, so I eventually got reloading dies and something to shoot them with.

I've done that several times. Last year my wife was with me at a gun show, and we walked by a table with a lot of military vehicle parts, and I picked up a headlight and asked what it was for, looking for one for my Jeep. The vendor said "M35 truck" to which my wife replied quickly "Put it down right now. We don't need another vehicle." She knows me.

Well, sort of.
I had a box of .357 Magnum ammo follow me home one time.
So I had to go buy a gun.
And the cool part is that it can shoot 2 calibers.

Same reason I bought a 44 Magnum.

My next pistol will be a .40 since I keep nabbing so much brass at the range. I've put a number of them on hold at the LGS but been distracted by other things (like SPP & Mausers).

I once found a bunch of reloading supplies in a garage sale, there was 1,000 once fired 30-06 brass in the mix. Finally bought an 06 this last fall to go with the brass, lol. I tend to stick to wildcats or semi-obsolete rounds and had never really wanted an -06.....

yes After picking up .40 brass for years that no one wanted, bought a heavily discounted S&W brandy new S&W 646 that no one wanted. Rationalized it by the cases being fully supported in the cylinder. Then decided there was a need for semi. Bingo .40 BHP.
