Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Well going cold turkey did not work out for this week. With me finishing a AR build on Saturday and the Chiefs winning the Superbowl on Sunday I was caught up in the celebration so when I got my daily email from Delta Team Tactical I lost all sense of commitment and order a MFT Battlelink Stock and a set of Omega Premium Sights for another AR build.

But just wait until next week. I’ll start cold turkey then.

Did somebody say "AR Anonymous" meetings? That's funny.

Is there an "AK Anonymous" group, and if so, should we wear a ski mask so that people won't know who has four imported AKs (plus a VZ-58 in 7.62x39) in their home?

Been a busy week. Ordered a Wilson EDC X9, 4 additional spare mags (clearance on Midway), holster from PJ Holster.

Probably add the orange tritium front site for it next week.

Then I'm done for the year, apart from ammo.

I broke down and bought a leather paddle holster for my 686+ snub nose. I prefer a more high and tight fit, but my work needs require a quick on and off. Tried a belly band, but that steel brick is just too heavy for it. The paddle holds it well enough, and a flannel and/or jacket hides the bulk enough. Once warmer weather hits, I'll be back to a slim single stack IWB anyway. However, this will be a nice way to pack the gun around the office and down at the cabin. Might as well embrace the fact that a 7 shot .357 L frame is not going to be a small gun no matter how short you chop the barrel;)

I was also able to find a couple of speed loaders for it at Academy Sports of all places. I'm not a huge fan of speed loaders, but for $10 a piece they aren't a huge investment.

My gun stuff buying is on hold right now, redoing the bathroom.

But that doesn’t mean that I’ll pass up a good deal if I run as across one.

Wow! What a perfect opportunity for building storage space for some guns. The possibilities are unlimited. Toilet tank storage, a drop down toilet paper holder with a hidden compartment behind it, gun rack concealed by a robe hanging over it. Your disciples are waiting with baited breath.

I am sure that some of us are looking forward to pictures of your remodeled throne room and what guns you decide to store there.

Went by the local Bass Pro for a pound of Bullseye (which they didn't have). Spotted the Trail Boss, which I had just been reading about, so decided to give it a try for some light pistol loads.

No hiding of guns in the bathroom, but if I did, I couldn’t tell you. I can say that I have Ave spent $1000 this week already.

I hit my local gun show and got a 50 round box 124gr 9mm Federal HSTs, a 50 round box of 124 gr 9mm Remington Golden Sabers, and a box of 380 fmj.

I have been wanting to try those 9's for awhile in my Shield I. The quest for a new carry round

Jackpot today....Went to a local outdoor equipment swap/sale and a guy was selling a pristine Marlin 70P "Papoose" with original case, spanner wrench, and one magazine and even including the styrofoam packing thing it shipped with. Serial number indicated it is a 1987 make. Wanted $225 so I didn't even try to get him lower; just handed over the cash. He claimed he had put it together and shot it once and it's possible; not a mark on the gun and very little dirt when I took it down to clean it. Now if I could just find one of the discontinued Ramline folding stocks for it!

Two new molds for my 300 BLK pistol I need to assemble.

Both MP molds, 140 hollow point and a 235 gr hollow point.

I almost forgot...a new muzzle device for the pistol I haven't assembled yet.

Dan Haga Designs makes a few accessory parts for the CZ Bren 2. They made a part that replaces the rear brace attachment. It mounts solidly with no movement.
