As I have mentioned, my son-in-law works in a pawnshop. Remember the Colt Python for $450? :eek:Well anyhow, he emails me at work and wonders if I would look at a S&W M36 for him so I stopped by after work. He brings out this Smith that looks new. I examined it and the cylinder wouldn't open and you couldn't fire it unless the cyl. latch was pulled to the back. I told him someone had probably taken it apart and didn't get it back together right and I could fix it. He says great because he is buying it...with an enormous grin on his face. How much are you giving was my question. He said $30 because it is broken! :what:

Don't ya just HATE people like that ?? I've run across ONE good deal on a gun in my life. The rest have been fair/ok. If I could run across more deals like that, I'd be like a pig in mud !!

I'm glad someone out there is finding those deals! A $30 wheelgun is awesome! Hopefully he got the other guy to pay any transfer fees that were involved too!

Don't buy it! It's not worth it. Send me that guy's number and I will give him a piece of my mind for trying to rip you off,..

The boy works in a pawnshp so he gets first dibs. He bought a Colt Gold Cup awhile back for $200. Actually, it was part of his bonus so he didn't pay anything for it. I'm starting to wonder about this boy. About a year ago he brought a mint (and I mean mint) Colt Python out of the back and didn't let me know he was going to bring it out. He never put it in the case. a customer ask him how much and he said $450. I still give him a hard time about that.

That is ok, I found out the have about 2 dozen "broken" guns in the back and I plan on getting them at a good price, starting with that Colt Walker. Seems it is broken because it has a ball stuck in one of the chambers....heh.
