Hi all,

I'm trying to identify what this bullet is, in Arabic. It was likely recovered from Israel/Palestine/Jordan. My reading is that it was perhaps produced in 1964, and is a .270? But the bullet looks smaller than this, and I don't see why they would have .270 for military personnel. I think the letters are ا خ ج (G, H, A), but I don't know what that signifies either. Any help is greatly appreciated, especially in terms of type of weapons this would be used in, who produced it, whose military had it? I'm completely stuck!

Thanks, Mia

Thanks Scooter, very helpful! Hopefully someone will be able to help ID the Arabic manufacture etc.

I assumed someone thought it would make a cool keychain? Didn't do a great job if so!

Can't make out much on the headstamp and can't help with the letters although I do have some pix here on the computer that allow you to decipher numbers in Arabic if there are any. Back in the 90's I had some .303 British mil-surp ammo that had been produced in Iraq. Used this info to determine what year it was made. Welcome to THR and hope this helps with numbers, anyway.
