I know that the old LGB was chock full of contradictions. We all continuously pointed them out during our last SO class to the SOI (boy was he mad). Anyway, can some of you help me locate some of the same type of contradictions in the new rulebook? I'll give some examples:

"IDPA is the governing body of a shooting sport that simulates self-defense scenarios and real life encounters."
Yet they still insist it is a game.

"'Competition only' equipment is not permitted in this sport."
How to claim this and still expect holster makers to specify that a holster is okay for IDPA is beyond me.

TarpleyG,

There are no condradictions in the New IDPA rule book, you just haven't looked deep enough.

Go to the IDPA web page, and look deep into the IDPA logo. Look deep into the IDPA logo. Slowly move your head left and right as you LOOK DEEP INTO THE IDPA LOGO.

repeat slowly after me.

There are no condradictions in the New IDPA rule book.
I LOVE THE IDPA.
