I picked this gun up at the gun show this past weekend because it was a good deal (or so I thought) and it was a sweet looking piece... Anyways it was sold to me as a Witness (which it obviously is) but I can not find ANY other picture of a gun like it. I am trying to figure out exactly what it is... I have seen other guns SIMILAR to this one, but none that are exact... Here is the info that I have:

It is .40 S&W.
Model EA 40 Made in Italy (Assuming Tanfoglio)
Two Tone (Only other two tone pistols I have seen pictures of are the newer Match series with the heart shaped hammer)
Threaded Single port compensator
Compact frame
Date code BA = 1991
Hard Chrome or Stainless, I can't tell.
Adjustable rear sight. (I have only seen a picture of one other "Model EA 40" that was all blued but had fixed rear site.)
Fixed front site.
Imported b EAA Corp Hialeah FLA.
Rubber grips with NO TANFOGLIO markings.
Serial number AE06XXX on frame but not on slide. Only "CAL 40" on slide
Low round count. Hardly any wear on slide, feed ramp, or hammer.
CAT. 6926 on frame.
Every other pistol I have seen have not been exactly like this one. Different trigger guards, slightly different frames (this one is not beveled)

HELP ME CZ CLONE GODS!!

I can't help you other than to confirm it is a Tanfoglio, TG would stand for Tanfoglio Gardone. I've never seen one with a single port comp and barrel weight though. Let us know what you come up with, it is an interesting looking gun.
