Help selecting lever action 30-30

Congrats on the new Marlin! Levers are just way too much fun! There's more to shooting than just hearing it go BANG! and levers add to the fun in a huge way.

Having one of both I have to stress that they really are quite different feeling rifles. Enjoy what you have for now. Hell, put a compact low to semi power scope on it since Marlins are so wonderfully scope'able and enjoy it. But start saving and looking for that Winnie and a brimmed cowboy hat to go with it pretty soon....

I would like a Marlin Zane Grey special. Shows how old I am to have even seen one barnd new when they first came out. I have a Model 94 that I put a Williams peep sight on for metal target shooting. I can't see worth beans to really shoot it well anymore.
