Good Afternoon,

I bought a collection of M1 carbine stocks to find a stock for a universal M1 carbine that someone hacked off to make a pistol grip carbine. I'm moving soon and fished this out of the back of the closet. I think it is military due to the two piece stock and that it looks like it take a maganize. it is marked bishop on the grip cap. Can anyone I'd this for me ?

That is for an SKS. Bishop made many domestic "sporter" and thumbhole stocks for AKs and SKS in the early '90s to comply with the various restrictions they were slapping on the Chinese imports.

I have several of their AK stock sets- the quality is pretty ok, much better than the junk Chui wood many of the Norincos arrived with.
