Folks, the best evidence for me that attitudes are changing was seeing the Henry firearms ad on Headline News this morning. I've seen it before on Fox, but it was entire different to see it on HLN. Either the networks are getting desperate for ad dollars or this is more acceptable to see in the mainstream (or both).
Now if Remington, S&W, Savage, or some of the bigger companies would just step up in visibility instead of cowering on TheOutdoorChannel....
