Henry H015 Shotgun Recall

Was in the Rice Lake, WI post office a couple of days ago and the fella behind the plexi-glass window was telling me about all the long packages they've been getting in for the H015 break-open single barrel shotguns coming in, to go to Henry in Rice Lake, here.

Seems if/when the hammer is on half-cock, a slight bump can cause the hammer to slip off that notch and scare the bejeepers out the one carrying that shotgun. Sounds like some over-time involved for the employees over at Henry.

Yes, they should also fix the really heavy trigger pulls while they're at it.

This recall was published in the American Rifleman earlier this year. I sent my 20 gauge back to them. Took them three weeks to return it. The trigger pull was much nicer when I got it back.
