here it is that david pedersoli 36 caliber flintlock rifle plus some shooting this evening! I think the squirrels are in trouble this fall!! plus the first shot dead center using 45grs 3f goex and 18ths patch infact my traditions 36c rifle uses this same load.

The rifle looks good, even some nice figure in the wood. Obviously you can't complain about the accuracy. I'll keep an ear to the ground to tell if there is a mass squirrel migration out of Oklahoma! :D

I can just see midland man now, in the woods with two .36 rifles slung over his shoulders and a smoothbore musket in his hands loaded for a war with the squirrels. :D
Just kidding ya' know!
Squirrels offer the best small game hunting opportunities that we have here also.
Great shooting rifle and it looks gorgeous too!

Wish we had squirrels here...u see maybe one or two a year..i think its way to hot and humid. Them rifles are really nice looking and shooting...love that figuring on the wood too.
 
Well done midland man! One very nicely finished (and certainly accurate enough), Pedersoli flintlock rifle!
 
A brace of grey squirrels all ways made for good eating, chicken fried or done up in a Brunswick stew. As a kid on an Ohio farm in the 40'sand 50's they, along with rabbits were a welcome addition to the family larder.
