I bought one for grins and giggles. I kept it a couple of years, and put a couple thousand rounds through it. I had a total of six malfunctions in that time, four of which came out of one box of "range reloads." I forget the specifics of the other two. I got bored with it, other guns came along, and I eventually sold it for more than I paid for it.
I didn't really think it was too much uglier than most any other plastic semi, but oddly enough, it felt great in my hand. It probably could have used something to make the grip a little "tackier?" They were pretty slick, but not so bad I had trouble shooting it.
Top heavy...yes. Awkward to carry? I don't know. I never had a holster for it, but I don't suppose it would have been any more awkward than any other gun it's size. About the only thing I really didn't care for was the safety, which never really felt secure to me. One thing for a range toy, another totally for a carry gun. If I had carried it, I probably would have done so with an empty chamber.
