I posted about a week ago about my find of a browning hi-power. I plan on picking it up this Friday I was doing some more research on this model and I need some history buffs for some help. Would you say or am I correct that this was the first double stack mag. for a pistol? How many different sides used this model? I have read so far that Germany and other smaller europe countries did during war time. I have also read this is and has been the side arm for many police departments. I like to know if any history about any firearm I buy. Thanks everyone

thanks Seems to be a lot of info there. Anyone here own one with the shoulder stock? That looks like it would be fun to shoot.
