I think it would be cool if Ian had the chance to come back at the end of season 2 and defend his title of top shot.
It's a completely different situation. If basketball teams were asked to shoot through rope at some point before they could continue on in the contest, I'd wager the last-minute tiebreaker shot wouldn't happen too regularly. Is that why basketball and football games never go into Overtime or have last second game winning points?
I don't much care for the idea of going full auto - "pray and spray" and "marksman" just doesn't compute anymore that "marksman" and "mortar", IMHO.
I never saw the location mentioned. Sure looked like CA, AZ, NV, UT somewhere.
No way with that many variables the last shot would be that close.
Good thing basketball players are only asked to shoot, pass, rebound, block, dribble and deal with the other guys doing everything in their power to stop them. Hardly any variables there at all! With so few variables involved it's amazing every game doesn't go into triple overtimeIf basketball teams were asked to shoot through rope at some point before they could continue on in the contest, I'd wager the last-minute tiebreaker shot wouldn't happen too regularly.
The numbers are out for the season finale.
2.8 million total viewers, 1.6 million adults 25-54 and 1.5 million adults 18-49.
Almost 3 million people watched a competitive shooting show.
Wow.
The auditions for season 2 are in southern CA and I would think they would film in the same place. I just checked: final casting is in Los Angeles 9/19-9/25 and taping 10/17-11/24Some of the contestants on the show have said they filmed in California. I forget exactly where though.
Dentite, IIRC Mythbusters had to go to AZ to use the Mini-Gun.
Season 1 of Top Shot was filmed over a period of 30 days in the spring of 2010 in Santa Clarita, California
Im originally from Santa Clarita, CA where they filmed this. The weather there is so nice, why move it?
