I picked up a FP6 last weekend for just under $ 390.00 :) I think I got a pretty good deal.
I took it to the Range and ran a box of High Brass #6 and 2 boxes of Wolf 00 Buck. The Bird Shot was a breeze to shoot but by the time I got to the last 2 rounds of the Buck my shoulder was SMARTING pretty good. I guess I'll have to try and find some of the Low Recoil 00 Buck and see how that goes.
Can anyone tell me where to get ahold of the Rail that mounts on the bottom of the Forearm? I'd like to eventualy put a Surefire Light on.
Also can anyone offer me any words of advise and or warnings on this Shotgun.

Thanks

Rick

Natchez, Midway, CTD etc all sell the Estate 00 at times. It's R/R and tight patterning in most shotguns.

A note....

I know nothing about the FP6. I do know that new shotgunners do best if they leave the heavy stuff like buck for later and learn using lighter loads. Get a few cases of something like the new 7/8 oz loads for now and work on your form. The thread on proper mounting techniques may help.

Also try the old thread," Shooting Heavier Loads"....
