HK USP45 Elite .45ACP 6" good? bad? ugly?

Far and away the most accurate centerfire auto pistol I've ever used. It has HK's marvelous match trigger, nice target sights and a hand fitted "tight as a drum" lock up. Add to all of that a rock solid reliability and you've got the elite. Love it.

Best 5 round group I've managed since my eyes turned 50, (a while ago).

what ammo, what range was that group?

I failed to document the details. The range I usually shoot for groups would be 12 to 20 yds. I'll venture, because it's so tight, that it was closer to 12 yds than 20. It was about 9 years ago right after I bought it new and shot during the first couple of range visits. Probably no more than 150 to 300 rounds or so.

The ammo I'm pretty sure was ordinary Blazer Brass. I was amazed it was so consistent for being one of the cheapest brands.

The Elite delivered tight groups always. This target, one of only a couple I ever made note of in 50 years of target shooting, was the best. I'd never produced the desired "one ragged hole" with anything other than a .22 before.
