HKS Speedloader Contact Info Needed

Yes, I did try the search feature here and Google. I did get their website but there is no contact information on their webpage. I did find another HKS on Google but I'm not sure they are the same company.

I have an issue with them and I would like to get a response from them before I post it here.

Just read a Clint Smith story about HKS speed-loaders in the May Handgunner mag yesterday.

hmmm ....

I'll have to take that in. I had a problem with my HKS Speedloaders and I'm trying to figure out who's at fault.

Short story, I have Magtech ammunition that will not fall freely out of my HKS Speedloaders. Magtech says their ammo is within SAMMI specs and blames HKS. ALL other ammo I tried works fine. Magtech ammo measures differently than all other ammo in my inventory. I want to hear what HKS has to say.

Take a look at the safariland speed loaders. I prefer them to HKS. The bullets stay in place and don't rattle, which makes it easier to load in the chambers and with safariland all you do is push the rim of the speedload in toward the chamber and the ammo pops right in. With HKS you have to turn a knob.

I forgot to mention that I do have Safariland Comp II loaders. They worked just fine for me and I would recommend them over the HKS loaders.

My friend was the one that had problems with the HKS loaders (he purchased eight of them before I could intervene so they're technically his loaders). I'm handling the problem since I bought the ammo and my friend is a relatively new shooter. He experienced this problem during a revolver class. It ended up detracting from the class and cost him a very low qualifying score.

Unfortunately, he didn't mention his problem until the end of his qualifying run and the class was over. That's when we all became aware of it.

I had the same problem with several types of .38 spl and .357 magnum brass. First I tried figuring out what wasn't working and then just dumped them for Safari where speedloaders are required and moonclips for the rest.

What caliber are the speed-loaders supposed to fit?

The .38/.357 rim is supposed to be no larger then .440".

What does the Mag-Tec measure?
