Hogue knives

I just got this in the mail. It's as good or better than my Benchmades.It fires quickly and the lockup is super tight. The blade design is the only thing I would change. Hogue makes great knives based on this sample.

I've handled a few and the quality is there. I just haven't found one that I like well enough to buy. At least not yet.

They come in two blade styles, or have.

The dealer made me an offer on this particular knife that I couldn't pass up. Otherwise, I would have gone for the more traditional drop point style. I really like how thin it is compared to my other automatics and despite the blade style not being my favorite, I'm really enjoying this knife and added the deep carry clip. I googled on how to make a deep carry clip but when I saw how cheap the Hogue brand one was, I just went ahead and bought it. There's a wooden dowel with a tapered end that came with it. I have no idea what it's for.
