Ok, so this is likely to be weird but I'm trying it anyway. One of the best loads I shoot in my ROA is triple 7 topped with a DD/PUK/ROA-II Big Lube 210 grain bullet. I've got a really nice precision hollow pointing jig ordered from one of the folks on another forum (castboolits). He's a machinist and his universal jig looks like just the thing.
I'm getting a series drill bits with it of varying sizes. I'm going to see which is the most accurate with a bunch of different powders and caps. Once I have that figured I'm going to have someone...to be identified later...make a matching ram tip that will be the reverse profile of the bullets hollow point profile. I have a extended one made by Banana River with a brass tip that is really neat. One similar to that would just be peachy.
With the chamfered cylinder chamber mouths, the bullets rebated base and pointed ram tip holding the bullets hollow point. I'm thinking the bullet will be held pretty much aligned so I can pop it in and easily (hopefully) ram it home. Right now it's a lot easier to pop out the cylinder and use a loading stand.
Like I say, it's a bit of a weird idea but so is how much I like my ROA.
