Holster/Belt combination problems

I carry my USP 45c in an IWB Comp tac C-Tac using a Rafter S Shark skin 1.5 belt. It's about a year now, and two of the hooks on the holster has broken. Greg at Comp Tac has replaced them promptly without any questions. Yesterday a third one broke. Now am wondering what am doing wrong. Or is the belt too thick for the hooks? Has anybody else here experienced similar situation? Any suggestions as to what to do to avoid this? Thanks y'all.

hunter, I have one of their 1 1/2" shark belts as well. Mine seems to be thicker and slightly more oversized (closer to 1 3/4") It is also much stiffer than my regular leather belts. It could be that the belt is stiff enough and slightly large like mine. It could be putting just enough strain on the clips to stress them.

Contact Greg at Comp-Tac and tell him of your troubles. Maybe send him your belt to measure. He may be able to make some slightly oversized clips to match the belt and reduce the strain.
