holster fit??

will a taurus g3c fit in a springfield xds holster? Found one online for cheap for a leather holster but I don't know if it will fit. Thanks

As I read that I was sitting here with an XDs Mod2 (3.3" .45acp) on my belt in a leather DeSantis XDs Mini Scabbard holster.
I read that and my brain said, "No way." ... but just to check I retrieved a G3c from the south gunsafe and tried it and I am sure that it would work in this holster.

The fit is a bit tight (but smooth, not destructive) but if you know leather holsters, that is a good thing. The G3c should have no problem training that leather.

Don't know.

I could test it, having both guns and holsters for both. But I won't. Get a holster made for it.

That said, I doubt it will fit. The G2C slide is wider than the XDS'.

So I did go try it. Tried to fit the G3C into a Blade-Tech Eclipse, and a Blade-Tech Nano, both for the XDS. Did not remotely fit.

Update: I am one happy feller right now, the hoster fits perfect. So much so that the 4 that came in are now with me, dealer said if I took all 4 I could get them for $25 for all. I jumped at that offer. They are Blackhawk leather holsters that are discontinued. I also found online at Amazon that they are $6 bucks a piece for the XDS, higher for other models but the XDS holster will fit the G3c. Here are some picks:
