How accurate is your single six with .22lr?

And after you get that done and decide to sell you might even get $500 bucks for it!
Nobody who has a custom gun built does so with resale in mind. However, it has been proven to me that even custom guns hold their value quite well.

I would agree to what most are saying. My single six with 22 lr shoots fairly well but it seems on two of the cylinder holes it shoots low and left a little the rest is good from ranges of 20-25 yds. The 22 mags do seem to shoot better and from what everyone is saying it makes sense. I have not really played around with 22 mag groups I just make sure they hit similar to 22lr and thats my small game load and bear killer ha ha ha

My scoped 9.5" shoots 3/4" groups at 25 with Maxi-Mag 40g hp's from the bag rest. Opens up to1"-1.5" with the LR cylinder with good ammo. I must have gotten lucky, neither cylinder seems to produce a flyer.

I just orderd a Ruger Single Six in Blue with a 6 1/2 " BBL in 22RF/22WMR & adj sights & the Black rubber grips on it, I am going to try it out on this year's small game for bunnies, & I loaded up on Rem Yellow Jacket's & CCI Stingers, this is what I shoot in my 22RF rifle also.

With Winchester bulk pack plated 22lr my single six is a less than 1.5" gun at 25 yards, when shot from a rest. The mag ammo doesnt shoot any better. Thats as good as I could shoot with it anyway.

Anyone tried the Paco Kelly accurizer, to size standard bullets to .224"?
Accuracy?

Also, you might try a lead bullet, using the accurizer to create either a hollow point, or flat point, or cup point. Heard these make nice big holes in varmits.

My 4" Single-Six likes CCI Standard Velocity .22LR ammo best. It will do well with the now out of production Federal Champion Target standard velocity ammo too (Part #714) but it's almost impossible to find now. (box looks just like their Blue #510 with the word "Target" added)
