How long is re- certification class good for in IL?

My CCL expires next march. If i take the re- certification class now... will i be able to wait awhile before sending it in?

Great. Thank you. I will just go ahead and book the class. I have a range across from work ( i shoot there often). They're charging 65 but whatever... 15 bucks isnt a big deal.
