How much barrel cleaning does a once a year fired gun need?

That's not the choke tube cleaner, but try it anyway, it might do OK.

I thought the bore cleaner also got rid of plastic from shotgun wads?

My shotgun doesn't have choketubes.

It is a Savage 220 Bolt-action shotgun.

The Choke tube cleaner is made specifically for taking the plastic out of shotgun barrels, whether from wads or sabots. Run a couple sloppy wet patches full of it down the bore, wait 15 minutes, then scrub the bore with a brass/bronze brush-the plastic will come right out.

Ok, thanks.
