How much do you spend?!

Ten grand?! Dude, you must be loaded. I prolly have $500-600 invested in my reloading setup, and I can't think of anything else to buy. Well, maybe that RCBS Chargemaster, but that's it! Oh, yeah, there's shiny new turret press....
And that nice casting outfit and, and, well that's how it happens---right?

Nope, I'm one payday from bankruptcy, just like most Americans. Happily divorced and I live simply BESIDES my shooting, reloading expenses.

I wish you guys wouldn't be bringing such good ideas to light about tracking expenses on this site. My better half is a member here too...

Oops, I was afraid something like this would happen!:uhoh::scrutiny: Sorry mr. knight, hope you're not in trouble.;)

Then theres the shotgun loading stuff for sporting clays, skeet, trap and hunting loads. Half a dozen black powder rifles and 1 shotgun.

I would answer, but there's that whole 5th amendment thing and Mrs Scout to keep in mind.

There's a roof over the family's head, and hot food on table 3 times a day.

So I guess what I'm saying, is I spent more then Mrs. Scout thinks I spent, but not nearly what I'd liek to spend.

I'm afraid if I added it all up I would shoot myself....if not my wife would. Especially with my sudden unplanned departure from the Navy and a paycheck.

Didn't spend a dime, actually made money turning in brass and lead to the scrap man or selling it to other shooters/loaders. At least that's the line of bull I use when the little woman is watching

About $4000.00 in loading components in the last year, it should last me for about 5-6 years if I continue to shoot at the rate I have been.

WOW :what: !!! $7190 back to August 2005 ... midwayusa.com must store a certain number of past orders, as my list only went back to 2005, not 2000. But $7190 in the past 2 1/2 years startles me. Yes this includes ammunition and other firearm related products, in addition to reloading materials ... however, it is a signifigant amount of money in my mind.

I'm sorry I checked this, it might inhibit my future purchases.

Prob around 1K at midway. Problem is likely same amount at Natchez, Cabella, Gander, Dicks, and the Local gunshop. On second thought its better I don't know for sure!!!

$9877.16.

Dang, to bad they still didn't do shipping included otherwise it would be more. I would guess that I have spent probably double that with other retailers recently.

Nah, its my hobby. Its not like I am buying a sports car or restoring a vintage Willey's or something. Its just shooting and it is far cheaper then say "golf". Go try to price out what a round of golf costs or say Superbowl tickets or even a weekend at Dayton Speedway. Shooting is darn cheap compared to other hobbies I see guys chase around here.
