How much $ for 1lb wheel weight ingots

Just a feeler. How much are 1lb wheel weight ingots going for now? How much is wheel weight lead selling for in your town? Maybe this is the wrong thread for this and if so, Sorry.

Last time I bought WW ingots it was about $1 a pound, but I think it went down sice then. Ask on castboolits.gunloads.com.

I've never seen 1lb. w/w ingots ready for sale, most folks make their own. W/W's are getting hard to find, a local scrapyard quoted me .85/lb. for them.

You can usually find plenty on evilbay for around 1.00/lb. I've gotten some there for that and also sold a bunch there for that. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

Hopefully next week I will have some for sale, and it seems fourdollarbill has the same idea. Seems like great minds think alike.

Wheelweights in my area are going for .20 cents a pound in original form. I smelt my own ingots, but they're for my own use.

If you are a patient person you can get wheel weight ingots delivered to your house for about $1/lb shopping on eBay.

Welllll, anybody that wants to sell raw wheel weights for a decent price, please send me a PM! I'd be leery of buying w/w ingots from somebody I don't know, if you get the mix too hot you CAN melt any zinc weights in the pot and contaminate the lead.

The people I have bought WW ingots from I trust pretty well. But you do raise a good point. However, I have enough to keep me going for a few years.
