How Off Topic is Off Topic???

I guess that TFL has become my defacto home and it is looking like this forum will have many of the same folks. Well, when the brass starts flying in Iraq, or some such thing, might we post without worrying about the questionable tie to anything firearms related? In other words, will the "General Discussion" forum be open to quasi-firearms posts? I've got to ask, I'm a quasi sort of guy.

Actually, it fits in the Legal and Political forum and it doesn't have to be a firearms only related political thread.

I guess that frames the question. What, if any, forum is an "off topic" forum? I have viewed "Legal" as a more "on topic" forum, but have bent that interpretation many times.

The "Bending" part depends on how far the Moderators let you go before drawing the line. After a few off-topic threads get nailed, we should have an idea about where that line is.
