How often does this happen?

It happened to my uncle several years back. He hit the deer broadside and when he got over to it, there were two deer laying on the ground. He never even saw the second one standing just on the the other side of the deer he was aiming at.

Nathanial Bumpo shot two seagulls with one round ball from a flintlock while the gulls crossed in mid-air! I read it, it must be true.

Once in a lifetime, so far. Two jack rabbits with a single shot Winchester .22 boy's rifle. About 1955 when I was 11.

Got two woodchucks with one .243 round one time. Didn't see the second one pop up behind the first so I was rather surprised when I went downrange to dispose of the carcass.

Aw that's nothing. Took out the whole left side of a flock of geese in V formation last year with one shot from an AR. :neener:

..
.....
............

What? Oh. Yea my nose always does that. :D

And of course possible that it didn't really happen.

2 guys fired at once?

No sound on the video and the camera shakes away and comes back after they are down.

Who knows......

When I was eight my big Brother was ten. He spotted a Pheasant in the garden. he grabbed his .410 and sneaked out the back door. I was watching from the window. When the pheasant flushed he fired. He hit the pheasant and downrange hit another that was still grounded. Two pheasants one shot.

I've done it. A little doe slipped inbetween my target doe and the hillside just as I was shooting. It was a mistake, plain and simple. And illegal in my state. There is a one deer per day bag limit. I knew there was a hillside just a few feet behind the group of deer, and no people were in the path of the bullet. But I still don't excuse myself for not knowing the second deer was behind my target.

My grandfather got a cow and calf eik with one shot, calf was behind the cow, never saw it standing there. Luckily the guy with him also had a cow tag for that area

Up North in BC, 1 shot two swamp donkeys... wasn't me.. It was in my friends local paper, the guy that shot didn't get in trouble, the Game Warden was informed of what happened and the Warden picked up the other swamp donkey for the food bank.

I have an uncanny ability to get each of my bullets to hit both a piece of paper, and a metal wall every time. I'm so good, I never mess up.

Sometimes, under other circumstances, I have them hit a piece of paper and then a hill of sand. Again, both with the same bullet.

I'm pretty amazing aren't I?

Mid 70s while hunting whitetails , my father shot 2 with one shot . He did neglect the "knowing what's beyond" rule . The deer was/were jumping over a berm . When he walked over to see if he had hit it( still didn't know there were 2) he saw one 20' over the berm and the other maybe another 20' past that .

First one was done , and the second had to be put down . Still have the old pictures of him with both hanging . Warden wasn't to impressed at the time , but let him tag one and keep the other anyway .
