With any fixed blade this is what I do. First remove any belt loops or tekloks, then tie a loop of para cord to the sheath using a hole near the tip. The loop should be long enough to allow you to wear the knife IWB and run your belt through the other end of the loop.
Now as you draw the sheath comes out with the knife until the cord becomes taut, at that point they seperate and you can go to work. The real advantage of this is that the knife is unsheathed away from your body unlike IWB where it is easy to cut yourself if forced to draw in an awkward position and the knife can be easily positioned for best comfort or concealment. This will not slow down your draw and will allow the carry of a fairly large knife with ease.
