How to dissassemble Mauser bolt WITHOUT putting on safe?

I have mauser bolt with bent handle: it will not go all the way into battery, and thus cannot be put on safe.

How do I dissamble the bolt without this step? Or....asked another way...how do I put it on safe after pulling it out of the rifle?

Came to post this.
It might be difficult with only two hands. A padded vise is very helpful here.

I use the edge of the bench, put the cocking lug against the edge of your bench and push, rotate the safety when it comes back far enough to do so.

it seems strange no one has though of it.

It is possible to make a tool for the Mauser that is different than all of the Mauser bolts tools reloaders are familiar with.

Use a penny to hold it out when you use the edge of the table or vice.
