I measure mine the best way. I poke the jaws of my digital caliper into the two holes that are furthest apart. I proceed to bring the jaws closer together until I hear the paper tear or it's noticably buckled. (It wasn't laying perfectly flat when I shot it, right?) I can then read the measure and add one caliber unless the measure was too high to begin with. Of course, if there's no paper between the holes it's automatically a "one ragged hole" group even if the ragged hole is 4" in diameter.
Thanks for trying the program and posting the results.
Since releasing the program I've been exposed to a lot of different shooting disciplines, everything from airgun to long range high power. The precision and accuracy at every level is almost unbelievable. It takes a tremendous amount of time and dedication to achieve these results.
Good groups for the internet? It's easy. Just ignore all the bad groups and keep to three shot groups. Sooner or later a clover leaf is going to accidently happen.
Nice group Bullet! Holy Cow!!!! I only get that with ONE SHOT groups.
