JPFO Alert: HUNTERS BEWARE: LATEST AUSTRALIAN OUTRAGE SHOWS WHERE U.S.
MAY BE HEADING

It's hunting season. Asked by a teacher to share something about
the activities he's doing at home, a 10-year-old boy brings a
bullet to school. Just a bullet. No firearm.

No one knows, or ever finds out, where the boy actually got the
bullet. But in these days of raving hysteria about guns, that
hardly matters.

The boy's father is fined for firearms-law violations and has to
watch as his $3,000 worth of hunting rifles are confiscated for
destruction. Worse, the judge's ruling is based in part on
actions that aren't even crimes.

Gun owners have long realized that what happens today in Britain
or Australia is what victim-disarming politicians plan for the
U.S. tomorrow. We need to watch what's going on in those
countries. And if we're hunters (or know hunters) who think the
anti self-defense hysteria will never apply to us, we'd better
think again.

And while we're thinking, let's think about this. If you don't
want this sort of outrage to happen here: Show the tape. If you
want your friends to wake up to the real meaning of "gun
control": Play the DVD. We're talking about the documentary
"Innocents Betrayed." ( http://www.jpfo.org/ib.htm ) Nothing,
but nothing, will change minds more quickly. And nothing gives
us a better chance to turn America from the dangerous path so
many other similar countries are heading down. Don't let it
happen here. Play the tape for your friends and relatives.

A spent .22 shell casing caused the closure of LAX a couple of years ago and there was an incident within the past couple of days where a couple of spent shotgun shells were found in an aitrport, I believe in Germany, and they shut down the concourse to investigate this security "breach".

Knife in Trash Can Leads to Connecticut Airport Evacuation
By STACEY STOWE

Published: January 21, 2004

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn., Jan. 20 - A concourse at Bradley International Airport was evacuated Tuesday for more than an hour after a utility knife that had been slipped through a security checkpoint was found in a bathroom trash can.

Nine flights were delayed from 10 minutes to an hour after a maintenance worker found the knife around 2:30 p.m., said Mike Ross, operations specialist for the airport.

A Delta Song flight departing for Orlando, Fla., was called back to the gate to be swept for security; its passengers were required to pass through security once more before reboarding, said Dan Lee, manager of the Transportation Security Administration, an agency of the federal Department of Homeland Security.

Mr. Lee said he did not know how the knife had made it past security.

"I can't speculate how it got there,'' he said. Mr. Lee described the knife as "the kind you can buy for 29 cents at the hardware store. The adjustable blade was housed in a plastic case.''

About one-third of the airport was involved in the evacuation.

People in the boarding area, beyond the security checkpoint, were moved back to the main terminal area and ticket counter, Mr. Ross said.

Officers and police dogs with the Connecticut State Police searched the concourse before people were rescreened at the security checkpoint, said Sgt. Paul Vance, a spokesman for the state police. By 3:40 p.m. the entire concourse was back in operation, Mr. Lee said.

When Dennis Forgy arrived at 3:30 p.m. for an evening flight to Florida, he saw a long line snaking past the ticket counter. His first impression did not involve security concerns.

"I thought: 'What? Did the Beatles get back together again?' '' he said, adding that the line dispersed quickly.
So someone realizes they have the knife and not wanting to be hassled and arrested on a bogus charge, throws the thing in the same place the "authorities" will throw it -- the trash -- and they panic and shut dow the airport.

We are a nation of sheep looking for a wolf.

All to true, and sad for exactly that reason. The SHEEPLE and their leaders appear all to ready to BLEAT on command.

I feel for the subjects, uh, I mean citizens of Australia. Hunters in the U.S., take note.
