[Hypothetical] Ruger LCR-XL?

I was thinking just a standard post style grip stud like the GP100 as far as grips go. Although, something you can just snap panels onto similar to the HK V9P, Glock, M&P, et al, would be interesting.

Once I have the grips I like, I don't change them. I know some people like to swap grips between carry and range use.

Here's my answer to the hiking / trail gun:



Charter Arms Target Bulldog in 44 Special. Light, compact & powerful. I usually carry it with a couple of shotshells and three Buffalo Bore 200 grain wadcutters. Recoil is quite adequate, I wouldn't want one in 44 Mag, even if it were possible to build a 22 oz 44 Mag.

I'd love to see something similar on an LCR platform, maybe in 45 Colt.
