I am going to build my first bow

Well, sort of! I have a old Larry Nirk longbow that has a problem with the top limb de-laminating right were it makes the transition from risr to limb, but on the limb. The riser is intact. I am going to either buy a used recurve cheap (there are a lot round here for sale under 100. I am then going to use the clips, and hardware off of an older three piece bow that one of the limbs broke off of that a buddy gave me, and make this long bow into a take down three piece longbow. Should be a fun project.......

I think I'll even go it one better now and use an old recurve, saw off the limbs, fix the cuts, and dril them for the hardware for the riser.
