So I picked up a RAR predator 6.5 creed pretty cheap. I wanted to throw a scope on it but I’m having a hard time. I use to have a viper BDC (sold it long time ago)but didn’t like the fact that it was only true on max magnification. So now I am looking at a diamondback Tactical 4-12 with the mil dot (In moa). Now what I am trying to figure out is if in the picture it says that in max magnification that between each tick mark it is 2moa. So if I take it to 6x does that mean it will be 1moa? I’ve read that on one website but couldn’t confirm it anywhere else.

if it's 2moa between ticks at 12x, if you cut the magnification in half to 6x, the picture will look half as big as it used to with respect to the reticle, so it would be 4moa, not 1
 
First focal plane is dead on at all zoom powers. The cross hairs change size with the zoom. But the hash marks are true at all magnifications. There are a number of FFP scopes out there ...
