I happened on to two new in their boxs Remington classic trap shotguns, a 870 12 ga classic trap and a 1100 12 ga classic trap. I was not looking for them and to tell the truth I don,t need them, but the price was just to good to pass up.

I would have been very, very tempted myself.

Nice score!

My 1100 Trap doesn’t have the beautiful gold inlays, but it shoots very well.

Stay safe!

One thing I will give Remington, at least in days gone by: their 1100s always had some KILLER wood that would be expensive upgrades on a lot of other makers' guns. Great deal for the pair. Nevcer seem to find those deals where I live..........

when the boys moved out I took one of the bed rooms and made it into a man cave-gun room. I still have one more room if I need it, and then I have a army surpluse tent I bought for the wife .

I was fortunate a couple years ago to buy two sets of 870 Classic Trap wood from a dealer who'd taken them off a couple guns he was customizing for a customer. I got both sets for about $300. A steal. Congratulations.

Great buy. I've owned both and currently have a very nice 870 Wingmaster. I would have grabbed that pair if given the chance. That's why I cruise gun stores, gun shows, and auctions, always alert for such treasures....maybe someday.....

1200.00 does not earn much interest at any bank now days, so I tell my wife they are a better investment than a saving account at a bank. so far she believes me.

The best part is using both of those guns. Taking one of those afield or
target shooting makes the activity so much nicer.

I don,t know what year they were made as I didn,t take them out of the box.

So where did you find them? I never find deals like that, but I don't put much effort into looking either.

I saw a 1100 Trap in Walmart of all places today. No Gold on it just great wood......Price, $1000.00
