You aren't reading anything, are you? I don't want a .223 (5.56 x 45)! I don't plan on shooting at anything more than 100 yards. I hate the damned "ground-hog gun" and have no use for them.

If humans are farther than 50 yards away my MAK-91 "National Match" will do just fine. I also have a Spanish Mauser in .308 Winchester that shoots quite well, thank you.

What part of this don't you understand?

No, everyone living in "fantasyland" turns this into a thread about something else besides the original topic. They really should read the thread from the beginning from the outset before jumping to conclusions... including you.
