Arrrrgh! Mine struck AGAIN!!!!! I walked into Academy Sports. I walked out with a new Ruger Mark IV 22/45 . The new one, which pivots in front of the trigger guard to disassemble, polymer frame. Pic. Rail and barrel shroud ( :cuss:it DOESN'T go up!!).

Very nice! Looks a bit Buck Rogerish.

my paticular strain would more properly be Gun Adoption Syndrome.... it really does seem like guns in need of tender loving care gravitate towards me without my seeking them. being known as a 'gun guy' and a tinkerer with a metalworking shop seems to attract them.

I have a degenerated form of GAS known as Bubba Gun Rescue Syndrome, or BGRS. I simply cannot pass up a neglected or abused firearm without trying to ease its pain.
We BGRS collect a lot of abuse from the general shooting public, but we can all look into our gun safes and take comfort in all of the poor rescued victims sheltering therein.
