I just bought my "dream gun"

And dream gun it is....I shot it Saturday on the recommendation from one of the range guys. He said it was one of the finest shooting 9mm's he ever held. He was 100% correct.

It is the CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical. The gun is amazing. Heavy, all steel, holds like a 1911, tritium sights, rubber grips, recoil feels like a .22 The trigger is fantastic and instead of a safety, it has the decocker. DA/SA, 18+1 with two 18 round mags. 4.6 inch barrel. Easy to takedown.

So what amazed me ? Well, right off the bad I was shooting bullseye after bullseye at 30 ft from the first shot. So damn accurate and easy to handle. Like shooting a .22 match pistol. the 3 or 4 strays I shot were my fault (loosened grip) but when it occurred, I quickly regained my grip and back to shooting the red out of the paper target. WOW...

The downside ? 1) Freaking unobtainium - out of stock everywhere. 2) Pricey - $659 BUT for a handgun of this quality, worth it. Go check the shooting reviews, very impressive so its not just me...LOL

So after drooling since Saturday, I went with the one person who had them (he has 9 , now 8...lol) and went for it. One place said you could order with expected delivery of 8/10/2014...

I am stoked.
 
Great pistol, congrats - and over the next 500 rounds it will get even better - I have one of course, excellent pistol, a real gem.

Just blew me away...I don't have buyers remorse (yet) but might when then DO flood in and they sell for $100 less...but actually I was in the ballpark of prior sales...They must be a hot item. HOPING I have it by this weekend...but if not, then I can wait..anxiously...LOL
 
CZ's make great pistol I just picked up my dream Cz the 75 shadow and couldn't be happier.

If you liked the sp-01 tactical stock you should fell a worked over one by a great gunsmith.
 
I paid ~ $650 for mine several years ago.

Of course, the way it was setup, if purchased today, would run nearly twice that much. :evil:

They are fantastic pistols, no doubt. I've shot many pistols and CZ products exceed them all. Enjoy your!!
 
Congrats on getting a pistol that's such a good fit for you, and accurate too! I went with the P-01 a couple of years ago because it felt the same way to me as your SP-01 does to you. Enjoy your CZ!

I never saw them locally at the gun shops; rarely even at the area gun shows. Then one day I was traveling about an hour and a half out of town and stopped at a nearby gun store there, just to see what they had. What I found was a display case with four CZs in it, along with a Kadet .22 conversion assembly. Seems the clerk who did the firearms ordering for the store also liked CZs so he always tried to get some in whenver they were available. While we doing the paperwork I asked about the Kadet kit as I knew it would work on the P-01 and they offered it to me at such a discounted price I bought it too!
 
So it was a CZ, cool! I just got a price on the CZ75b compact 2 days ago. Gottem down to 550$? Hope you enjoy it!

Automatic Accuracy is working up an Accu-Shadow for me. Said the guns will be in on Friday and they'll start the processing then. My wallet is already moaning.
 
He quoted me that price. He did not have one in stock and had to order. I had told him I want to handle one first,but thanks if the congrat's was for me. I need to research some if that's a good price il" jump on it!
 
Welcome to the CZ Club! I was supposed to pick up my new 75b in glossy blue today but my smith/FFL can't do it so looks like Monday. I had a 75b polycoat until this week and it was a great gun. Enjoy yours.

I want one as well. We shoot duty matches at the range and it out performs the glock at 25 yards in reactive shoot. The CZ's have a great angle and point so damn well. Post pictures :)
