According to the BATFE, all guns are the same. I doesn't matter what they are or when they were made all gun parts currently and apparently have come from one factory someplace in Germany.

That's right every single gun part in your brand new shiny Valtro all the way to your C&R Finnish Mosin Nagant. All the same, no difference.

So stop paying high prices for SIGs and start bying Jennings, cuz they are all the same.

This tid bit of brilliances came from a "FFL Holder" who apparently was told this by the BATFE during a class or some such thing.

Heck, I have German guns that are not 100% German made.

I just thought I would let everybody know that whether it is a 1900s Mauser or a Remington 700 all their parts come from some obscure factory somewhere in Germany. We'll call in Webemakingdemalldorf for acedemic sake.

Now go forth and use this information to your benefit.

So many idiots, so few poisonous animals.:barf:

Are you sure that your friend wasn't pulling your leg when he told you that? I can't imagine that anyone would believe that who had anything to do with guns. Not that I am doubting you, but could there have been a mis communication.

If not sheesh.

The guy wasn't a friend, just some guy who apparently got an FFL blah blah blah.

Anyway if he was joking he didn't show it. I even asked.."really?" and was told absolutely and that it was not a well known fact.

I didn't even bother disputing the fact, not worth my time. WHATRYAGONNADO?

I did however get a laugh or two so I guess it's not all that bad.

Sounds like the guy you were talking to was trying to impress you with his vast array of technical firearms knowledge.:scrutiny:

Good thing that you didn't try to dispute the fact with him. My Grandpa always told me" Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience." :D

Webemakingdemalldorf. I love that.
