learned about the p10f only last week as I'm watching youtube. i had been thinking of putting a red dot on my xdm 5.25 9mm when i saw the optics ready cz p10f. i like the grip and trigger of my p10c so i thought I'd get the p10f instead. my lgs had one come in so i got it. barrel is only 4.5 inches but has 2 19 rd mags. will shoot as is for now and maybe mount a red dot later.

i was going to test some 357mag loads tomorrow if it's not too cold but will have to give this a go. my p10c jammed repeatedly during the first mag but none after so I'm curious how it goes.

Hi, I'm TN Outlaw, and I'm a CZaholic.

I finally purchased the P10c last week. As a big CZ fan I do love the grip and feel. I got the FDE w)nite sights and I love those sights. Small enough for fine shooting and when ran quick the front sight jumps out and the rear sight seems almost like black target sights.

Im very much thinking of getting one of the two sibblings.

The only negatives I personally have found with my P10c is after the second round I had a FTE, kind of a stovepipe but the spent case stayed perpendicular to the barrel and the slide closed on it. I chalk it up to break in.

The other is the trigger. Everything I have read is how great the trigger is for a stikerfired pistol. I tried one several months ago and it was nice but when mine came in, not so much. Alot of travel and measured just over 5lbs. With cleaning, polishing, and oiling of the internals, along with tons of dry fire it's now at 4.5lbs but still much travel.

I still prefer the feel of the CZ over the competition so ill more than likely still purchase one of the other p10's. I have a P-07 and a 75B so I think I'll go with the little brother 1st.

i don't mind the take up, and you are right it isn't that short, but my finger knows it will hit that wall where the trigger pressure starts counting and it isn't spongy. the travel beyond the break doesn't feel long to me and as everybody says the reset is short. i actually like the reset on it over the shadow 2 mainly because of its tactile and audible qualities.

i havent seen the subcompact but for the 3 models to have the same feel and trigger is a great idea. i suspect if you shoot the p10c good you will shoot the subcompact as good.

though i enjoy shooting the p10c well enough., it's one gun i don't feel any attachment to. i didn't have to do anything to it, it's relatively cheap and it's readily available.. my xdm thats also polymer i feel an attachment too( likely because of the trigger replacement). this must be how glock guys feel about their guns.

.

You mean like this? I had exactly one jam, this one, and I also say, break in jam. It happened once in over 200 rounds and didn't happen again.

Roval, how would you compare your 10F to your 85 or SP01? Do they point and shoot similarly? I’ve got SP01’s and a 75. I hold the 10C and the grip is so different I can’t make myself buy one.

I’ve got 12 CZ’s BTW so I’m a poster boy for the addicted.

I also don't find the plastic CZs to have quite as nice of a feel in the hand as the metal guns, and that's a significant part of why I love the metal CZs (the 75-based guns and the 97). If I were going to have a plastic gun it'd likely be a CZ, but so far only metal for me.
The only plastic gun I've ever owned myself was an HK. I couldn't find even the slightest hint of interest in shooting it instead of the CZs or other metal guns, so I sold it.

BTW, fellow poster-boy here -- 23 CZ/BRNO guns at the moment, including rifles (and that's after selling 5 because it didn't make sense to have that many). ;)

I have two CZ Phantoms; the original was my first CZ. I also have the updated version I bought from CGW with all the trigger enhancements. My others are steel. The Phantom seems to be the polymer version that’s closest to the original feel, at least to me. I’ll admit as I age the Phantoms see more and more use.

they feel different but it has a narrow "neck" in the grip and an undercut trigger guard i feel i coulld grip the gun higher. i think it makes it easy to shoot.

Yes, very similar. So far it's the only malfunction I've had with it.

Unfortunately we have had a record amount of rain this week so I haven't been able to shoot mine anymore. I'm anxious to see if it has gotten that out of it's system.

i like shooting both . i love the feel of the hand filling grip of the metal czs . i like how they look. the p10c for the high grip. the trigger despite being plastic and feeling "cheap" is easier to develop muscle memory for.

That’s amazing... my P10C did the exact same thing on its second round. The was the one and only time that it had any sort of a hiccup.
