I found and bought for cheap! It is a S&W model 36-no dash with the old flat latch and was made in 1961 me thinks. It is perfect mechanically but cosmetically challenged, not abused. Had Herrett's stocks on it, also well worn-with the paper sticker still inside.

I MAY redo the stocks in the future but have decided not to refinish the gun. I know, I know, it would look beautiful redone, but it has "character" brought on by many years of loving use (mostly carry, not heavy shooting it seems.)

Anyway, glad to find a good, oldie.
 
Smart phone smart phone if you have one. Take photo store in photos, log into THR, Start thread or reply thread, select upload a file, photo library, select photo, press done., type comments, post reply. FWIW Photo ability alone is worth the cost of a smart phone, not to mention the net browsing capabilities.THR at ones fingertips anywhere. :):)
